Monday - Friday 9.00-17.30pm

Purpose Summary

The principle aim is to ensure a professional and high quality service is delivered and maintained. The post holder will be required to provide an efficient, professional and comprehensive service, in accordance with policies and procedures.

Job description

- Ensuring the confidentiality of records and information is maintained.

- Report promptly to the line manager any problems or discrepancies.

- Resolving referred queries via telephone and email in consultation with employees and or managers.

- Investigating and resolving queries via reference to historical records.

- Assist with the sort and distribution of key documents.

- Complete routine data entry on systems as required and in accordance with policies and procedures.

- Complete routine data cleanse and record keeping as required.

- Support Legislative (eg HMRC/ NI) processes in accordance with policy and procedures.

- To assist with the checking procedure.

- Assist with the administration of operational systems as directed.

- Process confidential data and apply record updates, ensuring tasks are carried out in accordance with the service policies and procedures and within the specified timetables.

- Ensure the verification and validation of data, in accordance with policies and procedure.

- Ensure the correct application of statutory regulations in respect of data (e.g. PAYE, NIC and Pension regulations) as notified.

- Input data to upload (eg ADI) files in accordance with the service processes and procedures, and the checking process.

- Run routine service related reports as instructed.

- Responsible for ensuring errors are identified and logged and corrective action taken in accordance with the agreed procedure.

- Complete routine calculations.

- Assist in providing cover in the absence of colleagues or in covering vacant positions.
