Seeking a Guest Relation Coordinator to join the exciting world of Travel - in new state of the art offices!

Vacancy Details

Duties and Responsibilities

- Interacting with customers, providing information in answer to inquires about holidays, accounts, and services.

- Handling customer complaints, such as lost property, account errors, damaged or lost luggage, illness, death and many more such incidents.

- Coordinating customers’ service requirements with other appropriate departments as necessary to ensure effective customer service.

- Providing written responses to all passenger complaints.

- Issuing refunds or compensation to passengers.

- Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with passenger.

- Producing all defences for arbitrations and conciliations.

- Being the go between for any small claims and being the mediator between parties.

- Supporting the Legal department and solicitors through all court cases.

- Compiling reports from their database to assist management to analyse the customer service that our client provides.

- Developing customer service policies and standards for company.

- Communicating solutions, successes, and opportunities to the supervisor of customer service.

Experience Required

Skills and Specifications

- Calmness under pressure and maintain records in timely and accurate mode.

- Good decision-making, communication and IT skills.

- Ability to encourage and motivate people with responsible attitude.

- Interest in helping and working with customers.

- Should have sound practical judgment of priorities.

- Familiar with Microsoft office suite.

- Due to the high level of customer liaison within this role, excellent spoken and written English is a necessity.

Education and Qualifications

- Minimum of A-Level/BTEC/GNVQ (or equivalent)

- Experience in customer service activities
