A new technology product specialist role has become available for a large highly regarded travel company within Sussex, on the products for UK and Ireland division.
Working within a team of likewise product specialists to position the travel company’s’ brand to the industry - Strengthening the awareness of this company’s products, services and values through excellent development, management and migration.
The product specialist responsibilities are to work with the product marketing specialists and project specialists for information and internal support of all products/solutions.
To develop and execute the product plan in line with the company requirements and capability, prioritising and manage new product development, functionalities or functional enhancements required for the UK and Ireland market.
Experience Required
We are looking for a product specialist who has travel industry knowledge, excellent project management and planning skills.
Together with group presentation and training skills.
Technical understanding of networks, XML and programming languages
Good knowledge of a GDS
This position is not the usual travel industry product role dealing with brochures and destinations but a product role working with travel industry systems
